How is it played? (Rules)

The two opponents have to grab the stick with both hands and try to make the other release the stick. If someone releases the stick than he or she loses. It is allowed to use different techniques or trip with the help of the stick, the struggle can continue on the ground. It is not allowed to kick, punch, head or bite.

Sport or Game History and origins:

The wood-stick was the most important tool of the shepherds, they used them a lot in their everyday life. Sticks were real treasures in their life so they looked after and protected them so much. In their conflicts, these wood-sticks played an important role and that is where the game has evolved from.

Objective

Our goal is to force our opponent to land, while we stand on our own, or take away the stick from the other’s hand.
