SUMMARY

This project will be coordinated by Fundación Universidad San Jorge (FUSJ) with University of Athens, AEJST, and Baranta Traditional Hungarian Martial Arts Association collaborating as partners. The main purpose is to contribute to an innovative dissemination and promotion of European Traditional Sport and Games (TSGs) as an inclusive and intergenerational cultural and social asset. There are some innovative aspects in the proposal: it is transdisciplinar (work team profiles, knowledge areas interrelation, etc.), related to the internationalization and transfer of knowledge strategies of the participating entities and also related to the transfer to other socio-cultural settings.

In a globalized environment one of the preservation strategies of local and traditional practices is to provide the tools to be used by European children and youth. The main tasks of this project will be the Identification of good practices, and develop of innovative tools based on the use of technologies. The participant associations will be asked to identify examples of good practices in a variety of spheres. Afterwards, different social networks profiles of the project will be created and will be frequently updated with events, news and actual information of the different entities. Interactive pedagogical material will be designed for primary and secondary schools with interactive applications. Moreover, we will develop our own free access TSGs social network and website, where all the participants will be able to share information and material with other users. The primary content will be the designed interactive material. Finally, an innovative element to increase the promotion and dissemination of the TSGs is the design of an mobile application that could geo-locate the TSGs with detailed information of every traditional and sport and game. The Quality assurance of this project will contain a Quality plan which includes the control of the indicators presented depending on the quality objectives.
